Privacy policy

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the capitalized terms shall have the meaning as ascribed to them hereinafter. Any capitalized terms not mentioned herein shall have the meaning as ascribed to them under the Terms:

1.1) “Personal Data” means data about a natural person, which can be used to identify such person. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” shall mean to include Sensitive Personal Data or Information;

1.2) “Usage Data” shall mean data collected automatically- either generated by the use of the Platform or from the Platform infrastructure itself;

1.3) “Cookies” shall mean small pieces of data or information stored on your personal device (computer or mobile device);

1.4) “Public Authorities” shall mean any governmental, legislative, executive, judicial or administrative body, municipality or any national state, provincial, local or other authority (including non-governmental), regulatory authority, court, tribunal or arbitral tribunal (including any branch, agency or commission thereof), exercising powers conferred by applicable Law in India or any other applicable jurisdiction;

1.5) “Sensitive Personal Data or Information” shall have the same meaning as ascribed to it under Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011; and

1.6) “User Content” shall mean to include any information relating to the user of the Platform as may be collected from user’s account and activities while using of Platform, including but not limited to Personal Data so collected, device information, location and network carrier.

We collect the following types of information about you:

2.1) Information you provide us directly: While using our Platform, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include email address, phone number, Contacts list, Images, Videos, business name, GSTIN, first and last name, Cookies and Usage Data.

2.2) Collection of Usage Data: We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit or access our Platform by or through your personal devices. 3.5) To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Platform.

3.7) To detect, prevent and address technical issues.

3.8) To provide you with news, special offers and general information about other goods, Platform and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information.

3.9) To take and handle orders, deliver products and services, process payments, and communicate with you about orders, products and services, and promotional offers.

3.10) To fix errors, and improve the usability and effectiveness of the Platform.

3.11) To analyze market trends for business plans, strategies, etc.

We will retain your Personal Data on our systems or with third parties only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies).

Following termination or deactivation of your user account, we may retain your profile information and User Content for a period of 180 days from such deactivation. In particular, we may retain your information for the purpose of compliance with legal and audit obligations, and for backup and archival purposes.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Platform, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Please note that we transfer and store the data, including Personal Data, through a cloud server located at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

We take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Although, we keep your information safe and do not transfer the data without consent, there may be certain instances, where we might have to transfer your information as per the standard procedures. Few of such instances have been detailed below:

5.1) Transfer of data in certain cases: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

At present, the Platform has an SSL certification, so all information collected is processed through the HTTPS protocol.

7.1) Platform Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Platform ("Service Providers"), provide services on our behalf, perform Platform-related services or assist us in analyzing how our Platform is used.

These Service Providers may collect your Personal Data. The Personal Data collected by the Service Providers shall be governed by their respective privacy policies and We are not liable with regards to such Personal Data.

7.2) Analytics

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Platform.

You can opt out of receiving our marketing emails and from collection or use of any Personal Data by Our Platform. To stop receiving our promotional emails or to withdraw consent for collection and usage of Personal Data, please email unsubscribe to info@floridabeautylabs.com. It may take up to 15 (fifteen) days to process your request.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 18 years and the Platform and its content are not directed at children under the age of 18 years. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 18 years without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
